Elwira Niewiera and Piotr Rosołowski

Elwira Niewiera is a Polish/German director and screenwriter based in Berlin. She is the a co-director of the award-winning documentaries Domino Effect (2014) and The Prince and the Dybbuk (2017), which screened at over 50 festivals, including Venice, IDFA, HotDocs and Toronto. The Hamlet Syndrome (2022) is her fifth feature.

Piotr Rosolowski is a director and cinematographer born in 1977. He graduated from the Radio and Television Faculty in Katowice and received a scholarship to the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. He is a co-writer and cinematographer of the Oscar-nominated documentary Rabbit a la Berlin (2009) and a co-director of The Prince and the Dybbuk (2017). The Hamlet Syndrome (2022) is his fourth feature as a director.
