Film Concept Lab
Film Concept Lab is an initiative that develops and showcases exciting local creative talent. The 2023 presentation saw two premieres of proof-of-concept films: The House That Hungers and Nothing Gold Can Stay. Alongside the following three films:

The House That Hungers

When a young woman finds herself trapped inside a house that devours all life, she has to rely on her wits and cunning to survive. The short is based on Maria Lewis’ award-winning short story of the same name.
Nothing Gold Can Stay

Avoiding the acceptance of his death, a twenty- something-year-old boy is led to question what it means to live a purposeful and meaningful life.
