Adelaide Film Festival (AFF) is an Australian business that sells tickets and passes to attend events during the Adelaide Film Festival and associated events including Pop Up and Film Club Screenings. All prices listed for purchase are final and non-negotiable and are in Australian dollars. Adelaide Film Festival tickets and passes attract GST. By buying a ticket or pass you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions.

AFF in the time of COVID-19:

AFF events and screenings are managed by detailed and dedicated Covid Safe and Management Plans in place. AFF has undertaken all necessary and appropriate measures to ensure the Festival is as safe as possible.

AFF follows implemented measures to protect the health and wellbeing of all South Australians and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community including social distancing, hand sanitiser stations and the use of relevant personal protective equipment.

AFF ticketing is managed by contactless interaction wherever possible and credit card payment is encouraged.

AFF asks audience members to stay home and not attend AFF screenings and events if they are feeling unwell.

If you have attended an AFF event and then begin to feel unwell AFF encourages you to seek a COVID test as soon as possible. If you have attended an AFF event or screening and test positive for COVID-19 please contact AFF management to initiate contact tracing.

If COVID-19 restrictions impact any of our screenings or events AFF will firstly aim to reschedule or postpone the event to an appropriate and safe date in the future. If it is not possible to reschedule an event AFF will cancel the event and tickets will be refunded.

Outside of COVID-19, AFF  has a strict no refund policy. Tickets can be exchanged at a cost through our ticketing system. Please be sure that you have selected the correct session and ticket type before completing your purchase. This is non-negotiable and discussion will not be entered into. This no refund policy applies to all AFF screenings, special events, forums and talks. If a transaction needs to be cancelled for any reason, please call 08 8394 2505 to discuss with a member of our team.

AFF provides age recommendations for titles that are not officially classified, they are in three categories: All Ages, 15+ (unless accompanied by an adult) or 18+. Please check individual listings on our website for details. Note these recommendations are strictly adhered to and there will be no exceptions.

Some films are recommended for audiences according to different age ranges: ages 5-9 (Junior Primary), ages 5-12 (Primary) ages 13-15 (Middle School) and ages 16+ (Senior School and Adults). Note these recommendations are a guide only.

Tickets purchased via our website will be delivered via the email address provided when the account is created within an hour of purchase. The ticket(s) will be delivered in a PDF format. Please ensure that the email address you supply us is correct, as  AFF  is not responsible for tickets sent to the wrong email address. AFF  is aware of our carbon footprint and is taking every step to become paper-free.

Lost tickets can be reprinted from your account.

All sessions are general admission only. To guarantee a good seat, please arrive early.

Valid Concession or membership ID must be presented when buying or collecting tickets and, if requested, on entry to the cinema.

A valid Companion Card or valid Companion Card Number must be produced at the time of the booking to gain access to the Companion Card Scheme offer.

AFF  will endeavour to operate standby queues for all sold out sessions. Entry is subject to availability and not guaranteed.

By submitting your order, you are indicating that you have read and accept the  AFF  Terms and Conditions. All orders are subject to credit card approval and billing address verification.

AFF reserves the right to deny any person admission to any festival managed venues.

All persons seeking admittance to attend an event or session must have a valid ticket, irrespective of their age.

AFF accepts a range of concessions to help keep the festival accessible to all. We offer concession tickets on events (where listed) to full-time students, pensioners, healthcare cardholders, seniors, industry members, emergency services workers and frontline health workers. A current ID,  pre-arranged  letter of concession or concession (union) card must be presented when buying or collecting tickets and, if requested, on entry to the cinema.

Latecomers may not be admitted to a session, and tickets may be re-sold to a standby queue. There are no exchanges or refunds available if patrons arrive late to a session.

Particulars of any session or event may be changed without prior notice. Films, artists or performers may be added, withdrawn or substituted for specific performances or sessions. In the case of a cancelled film, AFF will offer exchanges or return the booking onto your pass to allow you to purchase another film. Passes may not be refunded in full or part based on a film change.

Your personal details will never be sold to a third party by AFF or passed on for marketing purposes. You can view our  privacy policy.

AFF regularly employs photography and videography services to capture events for documentation and future marketing purposes. When attending an AFF event attendees may be photographed, and AFF reserves the right to use all photography for promotional purposes.

AFF stores your personal and payment details securely. All credit card details are outsourced to our ticket supplier, Ferve. See Ferve's terms and conditions here.
