AFF X JAFF Market

Adelaide Film Festival is proud to continue its partnership with JAFF Market, Southeast Asia's leading screen industry marketplace, through the AFF Festival Bridges program. Established to connect Australian filmmakers with international opportunities, Festival Bridges supports participation in key global festivals and markets, including JAFF Market and the Cannes Marché du Film.

The initiative is supported by the Australian Government through the Office for the Arts and aims to strengthen cultural and industry connections between Australia and Indonesia while creating new opportunities for Australian filmmakers.

AFF x JAFF 2026 Selected Filmmakers

Meet the four Australian filmmakers selected to participate in the 2026 AFF x JAFF Market initiative, taking place in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, from 28–30 November.

JAFF Future Project

Director and producer Rosie Lourde and writer and producer Katharine McPhee have been selected with their feature film Wreck and Ruin, a supernatural thriller currently in development, with Joshua Trevorrow (Kumarangk: Sacred Women's Business) attached as executive producer.

JAFF Producers Exchange

Producers Lisa Scott and Rae Choi have been selected for the inaugural JAFF Producers Exchange, joining 12 international producers connecting with the Indonesian and wider Asian screen industries.

Lisa Scott will present Under The Banyan Moon, a romantic drama set in Yogyakarta, while Rae Choi will present Days Under the Sun, a coming-of-age drama incorporating magical realism, set in Malaysia.
