Adelaide Film Festival (AFF) connects Australian filmmakers with burgeoning Indonesian screen sector.

In 2023, AFF partnered with the Jogja NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia with the ambition to cultivate cultural understanding and creative collaboration. The initiative is inclusive of a film and filmmaker exchange between the two festivals, with future project development activities planned.

In 2024 the inaugural JAFF Market partnered with AFF to bring Australian projects in development to the project market platform, Jakarta Future Project (JFP) of JAFF Market, taking place in the city of Yogyakarta from 3-5 December. The initiative offered two Australian project teams with existing feature films or feature-length documentary projects containing suitable Indonesian story or production elements the opportunity to engage in the inaugural JAFF Market with structured support from Mylab.
