In partnership with Screen Australia, KOJO and the National Film and Sound Archive, the inaugural Indigenous Feature Documentary Initiative funded Larissa Behrendt’s After The Apology in 2017.
The initiative is the first of its kind. It supports innovative, observational and/or social justice docs, with up $738,000 in funding.
Together the supporting organisations champion an established Indigenous filmmaker to create a feature-length documentary, fuelled by a strong creative vision. The resultant film premiered at Adelaide Film Festival 2017.
