Important things to know before attending Adelaide Film Festival

First, you’ll need your tickets. One Film is never enough, so we would recommend an AFF Pass which will be the best bet for you to experience as much as you need.

Prefer browsing in person? You can visit our AFF Box Office located at 253 Rundle St, Adelaide. We will be open daily from Sat 10 Oct, 11am–4pm, and Wed 14–Sun 25 Oct, 10:30am–9:30pm.

You can buy a 3, 7 or 10 MultiPass to dip your toes in the water. The AFF fanatics can buy a Gold or Platinum Pass to squeeze as much in as humanly possible. AFF’s most loyal fans can purchase an AFF Membership to get discounted tickets and special benefits throughout the festival.

For more details visit our Ticketing Information page.

Once you’ve purchased your tickets, they will be emailed to you and can be scanned at the cinema door for entry. Show your ticket on your phone, print it out, or collect a printout from the AFF Box Office.

Our main Festival venue is at Palace Nova Eastend Cinemas in the city centre. Most of our Films with have a screening in this cinema. There are a number of other venues which will host screenings this year including Palace Nova Prospect Cinemas, Mitcham Wallis Cinemas, Odeon Star Semaphore Cinemas and Tandanya NACI. See the full list of venues and details here

Multiple plates from MumCha on a table

If you are heading to Palace Nova Eastend Cinemas, then you’ll have plenty of opportunities for a Festival tipple or to grab a bite between flicks. Why not book a table at one of our wonderful hospitality partners?

Another perfect spot to head to before, after or between films is the AFF Hub, located at The Belgian Beer Café

The AFF Hub is your go to location to hang out between films; a spot to sit, sip and plan your screening schedule or meet like-minded cinephiles and discuss your faves.

Serving up an impressive range of Belgium’s most loved beers and strikingly good food, AFF audiences are treated to a special offer at the AFF Hub with $6 glasses of Aurelia prosecco, $7 cans of Vale Lager and Tropical Ale and $10% off food.

Public Transport

AFF is committed to being sustainable and limiting our carbon footprint as much as possible. We’d love for our audiences to do the same and take public transport to the city centre. There are multiple bus stops close to Rundle St that are available to use.
