Pass collection

If you have purchased a pass, you will be emailed a code that can be used to begin booking sessions immediately. 3, 5 and 10 film passes are digital only, no physical pass is provided. Gold and Platinum passes are also digital, with the addition of a physical lanyard that can be collected from the AFF Box Office at cinema venues. Passes and tickets may only be collected by the credit card holder on presentation of the credit card used for the booking, with photo ID and any relevant concessions. Please arrive with plenty of time before the screening.

Print at home

All tickets purchased online will be emailed to you in a PDF format upon completion of your transaction. These PDF tickets can either be printed at home or presented on your phone at the cinema door for entry. You can access your tickets online at any time by logging into your account.

Check the classification

Adelaide Film Festival provides age recommendations for titles that are not officially classified. These are in three categories: All Ages, 15+ (unless accompanied by an adult) or 18+. Please check individual listings for details. Note these recommendations are strictly adhered to and there will be no exceptions. Please bring a valid photo ID to the screening.

Don’t be late

All films start at the advertised session time with very few ads, so please be on time. For red carpet events, the red carpet will begin 30 minutes before the session time.

AFF recommends arriving to the cinema venue at least 30 minutes prior to your selected screening. Venues will be open for hospitality options 1 hour prior to the first screening.

Please note your allocation is held until the scheduled session start time. After this time, we cannot guarantee your allocation, and you may be seated in a seat to ensure no obstructions impact the screening. Lockouts may apply. There are no exchanges or refunds available if you arrive late to a session. Find out more about our cinema venues and transport options here.

AFF cannot guarantee refunds, except where an event has been cancelled or rescheduled, or where Australian Consumer Law applies. For change of mind/personal circumstances after the film/event time, tickets are non-refundable.
