Production Coordinator

Based at Adelaide Studios. Fixed Term, August 2026 to October 2026 (Full-time).

The Adelaide Film Festival is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and experienced Production Coordinator to join our team. This role will:

  • Coordinate production elements of the Festival’s events

  • Supervise the smooth running of venues during the festival, coordinating casual staff and liaising with venue staff

  • Work in collaboration with key stakeholders on the day-to-day running of the Festival

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Operations Manager and Event Producer in the coordination of production and events elements of the AFF program

  • Ensure all aspects of the production, stage presentation and events comply with the relevant regulations regarding occupational health and safety

  •  Prepare production schedules, event runsheets and briefing documents using AFF software and systems

  • Equipment and vehicle logistics coordination

  • Develop rostering for casual staff pool

  • Liaise with AFF venues where necessary to ensure technical requirements are met

Key Requirements 

  • Experience working in events and festivals as a production coordinator and / or stage manager

  • Experience working with production suppliers, requesting and comparing quotes, purchase ordering, maintaining budgets

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced live event environments
