Content Coordinator

Based at Adelaide Studios. July 2026 to October 2026 (Full-time).

The Adelaide Film Festival is seeking a Content Creator to join the Marketing team for the 2026 Festival. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role focused on producing engaging digital content that brings the Festival to life across social platforms. 

You will work across the full Festival cycle, from program announcements through to live Festival coverage, helping audiences discover and connect with AFF’s 130+ film program. Working closely with the Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Lead, you will execute a structured content plan while bringing strong creative instincts to real-time storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and publish short-form video, photography, and social content across AFF channels

  • Capture and document Festival activity in real time during the event period

  • Support delivery of campaign content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Letterboxd

  • Work within an established content system, calendar, and briefing process

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure content aligns with Festival strategy and tone of voice

  • Assist in developing on-the-ground content ideas and responding to live Festival moments

Key Requirements 

  • Strong skills in short-form video production, photography, and social media content creation

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent editing tools

  • Strong understanding of platform-specific content and digital storytelling

  • Ability to work efficiently within a structured content plan across multiple priorities

  • Strong copywriting skills aligned with brand tone of voice

  • Experience in events, media, arts, or fast-paced content environments

  • Genuine interest in film and screen culture
