The 2nd Ghan International Film Festival Australia [GIFFA] is a 2-day film festival to be held at the Mercury Cinema, Adelaide. Organised by Farda (tomorrow) Association, GIFFA will present original and ambitious short films of high artistic value.  Proceeds from GIFFA support the underprivileged and homeless in Afghanistan, in particular children by providing education, food, and shelter. GIFFA aims to bring together people from mainstream communities to share ideas and to explore the current problems facing marginalised women and children in countries such as Afghanistan & Syria.  Leena Alam, esteemed actress, social activist and ADL Film Fest jury member, will be the GIFFA guest of honour.
