Geoff Cobham: Already Elsewhere

Premiering the first major gallery commission for the public artist and celebrated lighting designer.

Already Elsewhere, an immersive and interactive installation, is the first museum commission for esteemed lighting designer Geoff Cobham. Inspired by an instance of sublime disbelief experienced by the artist on the rim of a Balinese rice paddy at the edge of a volcano, Already Elsewhere uses light to transform space and alter perception, and explores the potential of “inexplicable moments”.
