The Boy Castaways is a rock musical dramatic feature film from director Michael Kantor, producers Jo Dyer and Stephen Armstrong and executive producer Robert Connolly. Megan Washington shines as Sarina, in her first acting role, alongside Tim Rogers and Paul Capsis. The Boy Castaways will premiere at the Picadilly Cinema on Sunday 13 October, 7pm.
Tender, a moving documentary from artist and director Lynette Wallworth and producer Kath Shelper (Samson and Delilah). A feisty community centre in an industrial seaside town is in the process of setting up a community-based funeral service when they are suddenly faced with the challenge of caring for one of their own.
Tender will premiere at the Piccadilly Cinema on Monday 14 October, 7pm.
I Want to Dance Better at Parties is a documentary/drama from directors Gideon Obarzanek and Matthew Bate. Recovering from the tragic death of his wife, Phillip Rose begins private dance classes to confront his loneliness and isolation. Based on a true story this hybrid film fuses documentary, drama and dance to create a unique portrait of a grieving man.
