Pay It Forward

“Thanks to ADL Film Fest and its supporters for their generosity and putting a smile on the faces of people who are going through very challenging times away from home”.

Cancer Council SA, 2018 charity partner

Thank you for paying it forward with Adelaide Film Festival!

What is Pay It Forward?

In the tradition of suspended coffees and random acts of kindness, the Adelaide Film Festival’s Pay It Forward program, launched in 2015, enables deserving organisations and hard-working individuals to experience a much-needed night off at the movies at the world-class Adelaide Film Festival event.

How does it work?

Pay It Forward augments accessibility and goodwill between Adelaide Film Festival and community members who may not otherwise be positioned to engage with the arts. Contributions to the Pay It Forward kitty go towards tickets to AFF screenings for a roster of local charities, organisations, and deserving individuals. 100% of your contribution goes directly to the recipients of this act of kindness.

To spread the movie love on, simply add a selection of Pay It Forward tickets to your cart below, and checkout as you would any other ADL Film Fest session. Easy!

You can also add a Pay It Forward ticket onto an ADL Film Fest session purchase, either online, or at our physical Box Office which can be found at any of our Film Club evenings, or during the festival season. Why not take a look at our growing program now to see what will be on offer this year!

There are no administrative fees associated with this giving, and the tickets are priced at a discounted rate. Amounts AUD $2.00 and over are tax deductible, and you will be issued automatically with a tax-deductible receipt to your email address.

If you would prefer to make an offline Pay It Forward donation via bank transfer or telephone, please view the Contact page for further details.

Let’s dismantle financial barriers so everyone can access the wonderful arts events Adelaide has to offer.

Pay It Forward is only offered leading up to and during festival period – check back later, or sign-up to our e-news to be up-to-date!
