Every picture has a story.

Fresh from its triumph at the Melbourne Film Festival, where it took out the inaugural Innovation award comes a film that truly is as sweet as. 15-year-old Murra’s dysfunctional home situation sees her packed off on a photo-safari through the Pilbara with three other at-risk kids. While she is initially antagonistic, Murra quickly starts to learn about country, about photography, about friendship, but most importantly about herself. There is a whole range of fresh Indigenous talent breaking out here: Jub Clerc makes a triumphant feature debut as writer/director, and Shantae Barnes-Cowan is a ready-made star. Add to the mix Mark Coles Smith (Mystery Road: Origins), Tasma Walton, and some of the most beautiful country you will ever see, and it only gets sweeter.
