Indigenous filmmakers and artists have been trailblazers in breaking down the white, often male dominated barriers that have systemically disadvantaged Indigenous peoples, advocating for Indigenous people’s right to self-representation and to own and control their own stories.
A panel of culture-shaping Australian Indigenous artists will speak to their experiences on how Indigenous artists have contributed to our national culture and identity.
Chaired by Tanya Hosch, AFTRS Council member and Social Activist.
