Every child grows up thinking their father is a hero or villain, until they realise he is just a man.
Filmed over five years between the sun-drenched wine districts of both Australia and Spain, a young man explores the nature of father-son relationships and the pathway toward understanding and forgiveness. Written by Judy Morris (Happy Feet, Babe: Pig in the City), starring Oscar-nominated Edward James Olmos (Stand and Deliver) Paz Vega (Spanglish), Carmen Maura (an Almodóvar regular), Jessica Marais (Love Child) and introducing Michael Crisafulli who plays “Savino" at age 12, and as a teenager.
