What You'll Win

Three winners will each receive a double pass to the AFF 2026 Closing Night Gala on Sunday, 25 October, featuring AFF Investment Fund-supported film Hell Has No Fire Escape.

How to Enter

2. Create or log in to your account

3. Purchase a ticket through the App during the competition period

Complete these steps by 10pm ACST on Monday 12 October and you'll automatically go into the draw.

T&Cs 

The promoter is Adelaide Film Festival (ABN 37 857 696 177), 1 Mulberry Road, Glenside SA 5065, Australia ("the Promoter").

1. The competition opens at 7.00pm ACST on Tuesday 15 September 2026 and closes at 10.00pm ACST on Monday 12 October 2026 ("Competition Period").

2. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over only. Employees of Adelaide Film Festival and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

3. To enter, purchase at least one ticket on the APP to any film in the AFF 2026 program, during the Competition Period.

4. Entry is automatic upon purchase on the App. Each eligible ticket purchased on the App during the Competition Period receives one (1) entry into the prize draw.

5. Purchases made outside the AFF App are not eligible for entry.

6. Any ticket purchase that is cancelled, refunded or reversed before the prize draw will not constitute an eligible entry.

7. There are three (3) prizes to be won. Each prize comprises one (1) double pass, admitting two people, to the Adelaide Film Festival Closing Night Gala on Sunday 25 October 2026, including the screening of Hell Has No Fire Escape and the Closing Night party.

8. Each winner may receive a maximum of one (1) prize.

9. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, in whole or in part.

10. The Closing Night Gala prize is valid only for Sunday 25 October 2026 and cannot be exchanged for tickets to another AFF screening, event or date.

11. The prize does not include travel to or from the event, accommodation, parking, insurance or any other expenses not expressly stated as part of the prize. These expenses are the responsibility of the winner and their guest.

12. The three winners will be drawn at random at 10am ACST on Tuesday 13 October 2026 at the offices of Adelaide Film Festival. Winners will be notified via the email address associated with their AFF account at the time of the draw.

13. Each winner’s first initial, surname and state/territory will be published on the Adelaide Film Festival competition webpage following the draw.

14. Winners must claim their prize by 9am ASCT on Tuesday 20 October. If a prize remains unclaimed, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw at 11am ASCT on Tuesday 20 October at the offices of Adelaide Film Festival. Any redraw winner will be notified by email and their details published on the Adelaide Film Festival competition webpage.

15. Personal information collected as part of this competition will be used solely for the administration of the competition and handled in accordance with the Adelaide Film Festival Privacy Policy.

16. If any element of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that element with another of equal or greater value, subject to any applicable laws.
