The AFF Audience Awards are voted for by you, the filmgoers. There are three Audience Awards, in categories for feature fiction, documentary and short film.

How to Enter

To enter:

1. Download the official AFF App.

2. Create or log in to your account.

3. Vote for any eligible film you've seen as part of the AFF 2026 program.

Every eligible film vote counts as one entry into the draw.

Already voted? You're already in the running! Every eligible vote cast throughout the Festival counts as one entry.

Voting closes at 11:59 pm ACDT on Thursday, 29 October 2026.

T&Cs 

The promoter is Adelaide Film Festival (ABN 37 857 696 177), 1 Mulberry Road, Glenside SA 5065, Australia ("the Promoter").

1. The competition was announced on Wednesday 21 October 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm ACDT on Thursday, 29 October 2026 ("Competition Period"). All valid votes cast through the official AFF App for eligible films in the AFF 2026 program during the Festival, including votes submitted before the competition announcement, will be included in the prize draw.

2. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over only. Employees of Adelaide Film Festival, Tarantino's and The Big Easy Group, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

3. To enter, participants must submit a valid Audience Award vote through the official AFF App for a film screened as part of the Adelaide Film Festival 2026 program.

4. Entry is automatic upon submission of an eligible vote. Each valid film vote receives one (1) entry into the prize draw. Entrants may receive multiple entries by voting for multiple eligible films.

5. Only valid Audience Award votes recorded through the official AFF App are eligible. Invalid or duplicate votes for the same film will not constitute additional entries.

6. There is one (1) prize to be won, consisting of a $300 AUD dining voucher redeemable exclusively at Tarantino's, Adelaide, part of The Big Easy Group. The total prize pool is valued at AUD $300.

7. The voucher is valid only at Tarantino's and cannot be redeemed at any other restaurant or venue operated by The Big Easy Group.

8. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, in whole or in part. Any expenditure exceeding the $300 voucher value is the responsibility of the winner.

9. The giftcard is valid for 36 months from 21 October 2026. Any credit remaining at the time of expiry will be voided. Treat this card as cash as it cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

10. The prize does not include travel, accommodation, parking or any expenses not expressly stated as part of the prize.

11. The winner will be selected at random on Friday, 30 October at the offices of Adelaide Film Festival.

12. The winner will be notified via the email address associated with their AFF App account on Friday, 30 October.

13. The winner's first initial, surname and state/territory will be published on the Adelaide Film Festival competition webpage following the draw.

14. The winner must claim their prize by Friday, 6 November. If the prize remains unclaimed, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw on Saturday, 7 November at the offices of Adelaide Film Festival. Any redraw winner will be notified by email and their details published on the Adelaide Film Festival competition webpage.

15. Personal information collected as part of this competition will be used solely for the administration of the competition and handled in accordance with the Adelaide Film Festival Privacy Policy.

16. If any element of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that element with another of equal or greater value, subject to any applicable laws.
