How to Enter

Purchase or renew an eligible AFF 2026 membership by 9:00am ACST on Monday 14 September 2026. Entry is automatic. Every eligible membership purchased during the competition receives one entry into the draw.

Eligible AFF memberships include:

If you have already purchased an eligible paid AFF 2026 Membership, you are automatically entered and no action is required.

Free U25 Memberships and complimentary memberships are not eligible for entry.

T&Cs 

The promoter is Adelaide Film Festival (ABN 37 857 696 177), 1 Mulberry Road, Glenside SA 5065, Australia ("the Promoter").

1. The competition opens at 9.00am ACST on Monday 31 August 2026 and closes at 9.00am ACST on Monday 14 September 2026 ("Competition Period").

2. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over only. Employees of Adelaide Film Festival, The Playford Hotel, The Lane Vineyard, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

3. To enter, purchase any eligible AFF 2026 Membership during the Competition Period. Eligible memberships are: Standard Memberships and Concession Memberships, including membership renewals. Free Under 25 Memberships and complimentary memberships are not eligible for entry.

4. Entry is automatic upon purchase. Each eligible Membership purchased during the Competition Period receives one (1) entry into the prize draw.

5. There is one (1) prize to be won, valued at AUD $843, comprising: Adelaide Film Festival - Two tickets to AFF Opening Night on Wednesday 14 October 2026, including the Opening Night screening and afterparty; The Playford Hotel - One nights accomodation for two people in a Classic Guest Room on Wednesday 14 October 2026 and a $250 food and beverage credit to be used during the stay; and one $50 Uber gift card.

6. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, in whole or in part.

7. The Adelaide Film Festival Opening Night component of the prize is valid only for Wednesday 14 October 2026 and cannot be exchanged for tickets for another AFF screening, event or date.

8. The Playford Hotel accomodation component is valid only for the night of Wednesday 14 October 2026, with check-out on Thursday 15 October 2026. The accomodation cannot be transferred to another date.

9. The food and beverage credit will be applied to the winner's room at The Playford Hotel and may be used for eligible on-property food and beverage purchases during the winner's stay, including Luma Restraunt and Bar, breakfast and room service. The credit is available from check-in on 14 October 2026 until check-out on 15 October 2026. Any unused balance will be forfeited upon check-out and is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

10. The Playford Hotel accomodation is room-only except for the seperate $250 food and beverage credit specified above. Minibar purchases, incidentals, expenditure above the $250 food and beverage credit and any other additional hotel expenses are the responsibility of the winner.

11. The prize does not include travel or transfer to or from Adelaide or The Playford Hotel beyond the included $50 Uber gift card. Insurance, parking and all other expenses not expressly stated as part of the proze are the responsibility of the winner.

12. The winner will be drawn at random at 9.00am ACST on Wednesday 16 September 2026 at the offices of Adelaide Film Festival.

13. The winner will be notified via the email address provided at the time of purchase on Wednesday 16 September 2026.

14. The winner's first initial, surname and state/territory will be published on the Adelaide Film Festival competition webpage following the draw.

15. The winner must claim the prize by 5:00pm ACST on Wednesday 30 September 2026. If the prize remains unclaimed, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw on 9:00am ACST on Thursday 1 October 2026 at the offices of Adelaide Film Festival. The redraw winner will be notified by email and their details published on the Adelaide Film Festival competition webpage.

16. Personal information collected as part of this competition will be used solely for the administration of the competition and handled in accordance with the Adelaide Film Festival Privacy Policy.

17. If any element of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that element with another of equal or greater value, subject to any applicable laws.
