AFF is thrilled that a number of its 2022 Selection films have been nominated at the 2023 Golden Globes. Leading the nominations charge is the acclaimed black comedy The Banshees of Inisherin, followed by the Australian-made Elvis and the long-awaited Avatar: The Way of Water, sequel to the 2010 box-office behemoth.

And a very special mention goes to Emma Thompson for her role in Good Luck to You, Leo Grande, directed by Adelaide’s Sophie Hyde.
The winners will be announced at a live ceremony on 11 January, 12pm AEDT.
