A captivating account of the international battle to restore the works of renowned Indigenous artist Albert Namatjira.

As the first Indigenous person to be granted Australian citizenship, Namatjira was caught between cultures. He was granted an audience with the Queen, but never truly accepted by white Australia.

Almost 60 years after his death, Namatjira’s family fight to restore his artwork after the rights had been sold against his wishes.
