Society is a mass of overlapping communities. Sometimes stories from or about the smaller communities become part of the central narrative while holding tight to authenticity. Across society there is broad encouragement for new voices and perspectives; in this discussion, creative practitioners will talk about their own identity, their experience of initiatives aimed at increasing diversity, as well as the extent to which their identity is built into their work.
