General Manager (Operations)

About the role:
The Adelaide Film Festival (AFF) is a dynamic screen event that explores Australian and international screen culture with a unique program of screenings, forums and special events. AFF invests in new screen production through the Adelaide Film Festival Investment Fund (AFFIF) that has helped enable more than 100 projects. AFF enjoys a highly regarded and established brand that is recognized both nationally and internationally.

AFF is seeking an experienced and multi skilled professional to form part of the leadership team that will see the organization flourish.

The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, business acumen and a can-do, positive attitude with demonstrated capacity to make significant contribution to propelling an organization forward. Prior experience in a festival environment is highly desirable.

The General Manager (Operations) will provide high level support to the CEO/ Creative Director, manage direct reports including heads of department whilst also ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. It is envisioned the successful candidate be a dynamic individual that has proven capacity in securing grant and sponsor funds and will enjoy representing the organization externally helping to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.

Special Conditions:
Some out of hours’ business work will be required. Flexibility in respect of working hours, especially during the Festival period and in the lead up to it.

Remuneration:
$75,000 per annum + 9.5% superannuation

Marketing Manager

AFF invests in new screen production through the Adelaide Film Festival Investment Fund (AFFIF) that has helped enable more than 100 projects. AFF enjoys a highly regarded and established brand that is recognized both nationally and internationally.

AFF is seeking a talented and diligent marketing professional that will lead a small team across a purpose driven campaign.

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to manage multiple projects on time and to a high standard with demonstrated capacity in developing and executing a marketing plan that supports a strategic plan.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning, strategy development and implementation of the marketing function of the Adelaide Film Festival. It is envisioned the successful candidate will be a creative individual that has broad marketing knowledge across a range of digital and traditional media and has a passion for the Arts.
