Additional Q&A screening with cast and creatives announced

Cast members ARMIE HAMMER, DEV PATEL, and TILDA COBHAM-HERVEY are all confirmed to attend the Australian Premiere of Hotel Mumbai at the Adelaide Film Festival (ADL FF) in October for an exclusive Australian appearance.Together with South Australian director/co-writer Anthony Maras, co-writer John Collee and producers Julie Ryan and Joe Thomas the cast members will walk the red carpet at the festival Opening Night Gala on Wednesday 10 October.

An additional event has been added to the festival’s opening weekend, with cast members Dev Patel and Tilda Cobham-Hervey participating in a Q&A screening from 6pm Friday 12 October, alongside co-writer John Collee, director Anthony Maras and producers Julie Ryan and Joe Thomas.

The Australian Premiere of Hotel Mumbai, an ADL Film Fest FUND supported feature, comes hot on the heels of the celebrated World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. It will be the first time cast and creatives reunite in Adelaide since the film was partially shot in Adelaide in 2016.

Directed and co-written by Anthony Maras and starring Armie Hammer, Dev Patel, Nazanin Boniadi, Tilda Cobham-Hervey, with Anupam Kher, and Jason Isaacs, Hotel Mumbai tells the astonishing story of those trapped in the iconic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in the 2008 attacks.

The Hotel Mumbai Gala Premiere will take place at GU Film House on Wednesday 10 October, followed by the ADL Film Fest Opening Night party at the Queen’s Theatre. Tickets are $95 and now on sale now.

Hotel Mumbai will also screen at the festival 6.30pm Sunday 14 October and 7.30pm Saturday 20 October. Tickets for all sessions available now at: www.adelaidefilmfestival.org

Hotel Mumbai will be released in Australian cinemas by Icon Film Distribution in 2019.
